Last Tuesday, 13th February, we had the pleasure of receiving at Plásticos Vanguardia the visit of the Mayor of Azuqueca de Henares, José Luis Blanco, and the Vice-Minister of Employment, Social Dialogue and Occupational Health and Safety, Nuria Chust, who highlighted the factory’s focus on sustainability, recycling and occupational safety.

Blanco praised the company’s commitment to sustainability and recycling as fundamental pillars for the economic growth of the city and the region. He also stressed the importance of ensuring a safe working environment for employees, highlighting the actions subsidised by the regional government over the last five years to improve safety measures at Plásticos Vanguardia.

The collaboration between administrations, in this case between the Junta de Comunidades and the City Council, was highlighted as crucial to support and facilitate business activity and encourage the creation of wealth in the region.

The visit of the authorities highlights the importance and recognition of the role that Plásticos Vanguardia plays in promoting sustainable and safe business practices in the region.
